Bonkers.
What we DO want - A ROBUST Singleplayer and Freebuild, a BALANCED Multiplayer, the ability to handle large sieges, more real content; less gimmicks, and DLC that actually delivers new content. Don't try to be EA or Paradox and nickel and dime us for "TWO DIFFERENT VERIONS OF THE PIG FROM STRONGHOLD 1 LUL"
ty luv you <3
I would definitely like to see the development of unit formations, so that they can be used strategically rather than just aesthetically. For example, mounted units being able to charge in charging formation and knock down infantry, whilst units such as spearmen/pikemen (which are currently not all that effective) should be able to lower their spears/pikes when facing charging cavalry, which kills the enemy horses/ injures the riders. Other formations like units raising their shields, which slows them down but reduces arrow damge, wedge formations, protective formations, the possibilites are endless and gives new potential to traditionally weaker units. Means that it's not just a case of who has the most knights and horse archers as is often the case in multiplayer, but puts more emphasis on how you use your army.
I agree that boat units, an option of more challenging AI, the return of kingmaker, larger multiplayer with more people, and larger maps would be great. Also love the estates system from stronghold 2 so please keep that!
Please no guns, the middle ages have been great in stronghold
Would be interested to know if people agree with what i've said
