I can only use the analog sticks on my controller- is there plans to include dpad support?

Please choose between keyboard and joystick even if the joystick is already plugged in.

Since it obviously does not have controller support can someone tell me thw keyboard controls so I can use joy2key to configure my controller.

The buttons and stick work on the start menu but once the game starts nothing works except the start button to pause. IN the options menu it says my controller is unplugged. I am using an xbox 360 controller, and have also tried a fight pad for xbox 360 and both were met with no results. Any help?...
