I had a problem with this game always going to a black screen, as well as many other Unity games. I solved it by going to my NVIDIA Control Panel -> Display -> Adjust desktop and size position -> 2. Apply the following settings -> Select a scaling mode -> change from Aspect ratio to No scaling. I hope this helps someone else!
