HELP
In the Core bar, when I opened a cabinet using a key given from the contactor's house, the game required me to crack the sound password to open the lock behind it. I searched everywhere in the bar, but couldn't find a clue. Could anyone help me out?

P.S: Developers please make a proper save files system so that we can return to any of the checkpoints along the game instead of playing it all over from the start?

P.P.S: Could you developers make an in-game archive for these notes we read among other collectibles thoughout the places?

Just randomly click the letters and you'll quickly find the solution. I didn't find any clues so just click away.... once you identify the first part of the four part code it remains there (And when you find the 2nd letter it also remains there ... and so on) ... it doesn't keep resetting when you make a mistake so it's actually quite easy to solve.

Still can't get it, it doesn't make sense that a password lock will not clear its input buffer after an combination is complete (then we would try bruteforcing the way out of the damn lock). Should I input only one letter at a time and wait to see what happens, or do anything else?

This is super hard for someone without any talent in music. The devices have completely different sound character, and most people cannot recognize individual notes, just the distances.

I listed to the jukebox and still failed to make the connection that the audio was the passcode. Not very intuitive. I didn't even recognize the mix of letters as a music scale.

A bit of a necro, but I just got this game today.

In short order, I figured out that the safe needed a 4-key input and, messing around with the jukebox, I noticed that it was repeating four notes. I have the minimum of music education to then recognize the keypad input as different musical notes...but after that it fell apart.

I'm far too tone deaf for this puzzle; the keypad sounds hardly seemed similar to the music's notes.

The game gives you the code after a while. I just inspected everything and fiddled around a bit and the game fills in the password at the top.
A bit of a weird puzzle for a game the most of the time is more walking sim than actual puzzle solver.

This seems like it's destined to cause players who have audio impairments, do not play with sound on, or who are simply tone-deaf to rage-quit in frustration.

Idg what the complaints are about. I'll admit I wasn't super excited when I found the door. But just wandering around the room and pressing stuff, I noticed the code was slowly revealing in the top left corner.

It required absolutely zero musical knowledge. xD
