Just here to inform everyone that the current driver stated in the title finally fixed the game. (missing base panel, Laharl clipping through objects, characters vanishing mid-animation). AMD had a long standing issue of breaking this game when you reach past a certain driver version, so I'm glad they fixed it somehow, hoping they manage to fix other older games as well....

More specifically, if I kill an item god and then start a new cycle later on, will the new cycle still think i killed an item god and lock me to that ending, or does it act as a fresh slate? wondering since i'm trying to get all the cheevos but got the bad ending on my first cycle, and want to see the good end for myself once i have that all wrapped up. but the item god achievements throw a wrench into things if i can't ever undo it lol......

I don't know how this happened or if it just some oddity of my computer, but I was going through the settings when I first started the game. I got to the setting for interface that was at NEW by default, and I selected it thinking I would see some alternative interface option. Instead, all the setting menus became invisible, at which point I exited back to the main menu and all the menu text there was invisible as well (the background and Disgaea PC logo was visible so it isn't like the whole screen is goi...
