Multiplayer unstable
hello guys,

I really don't have an idea what's wrong
if we play together by inviting, the one who's not hosting has so many lags it's unplayable
it also doesn't matter who is the host

I tried the server thingie but it always says: port forwarding failed
I used the default port for staxel: 38465 TCP

but it doesn't seem to work what Am I doing wrong?

I'm not sure your exact issue with the lag, but if your port forwarding is failing, you'll need to open it in your router.

This website:
https://portforward.com/

Should be able to help you out.

and the 38465 port that was recommend for staxel D:

Also I checked with a tool now the port is defiantly open

Hiya, are you doing this through Staxel net (i.e. via the codes)? That should be the best way to avoid lag.

Also, sadly staxel uses a lot of networking data, and if you don't have a good connection speed this might cause issues. What speeds are you guys using?

the last time we did it with the "join game" option over steam
I gotta ask her if staxel net was better will tell ya if I know something :3

my internet is pretty slow so in the beginning I thought it's my slow internet that's causing the lags
(I hosted) so we talked about it and she said she has the fastest possible which made us think, it might be gone if she is hosting but no it didn't help D:
