I see the error "Failed to Start the Game (Missing Executable)" when launching the game

I mean, it gets rough later on and I shudder to think what hardcore entails...so I'm wondering if half the players used SAM to complete this game...

I want to "couch multiplayer" the game instead of having 8 people crouch in front of a keyboard. Apparently, the game does not support more than one Xinput conrtoller. It simply does not respond to controller 2 inputs.
