Good luck.
True, the game doesn't get affected much. You can just take the meteors on the chin, and in the beginning of the game you'll have to anyway, but it does annoy me a bit, because as a personal challenge I try to have as few casualties as possible.
1)move to class F or S there are no meteors there
2)Biuld telescopes and anti meteor lasers and have efficient engineers to operate from control center and whenever it's operated, there is a high chance of the meteor not wrecking anything
Very often, the artificial intelligence of the game selects such a coordinate for a meteorite strike, which the player most often looks at on his screen.
For example, if you very often look at your hostel in the game and hold up the screen on this building, then it is likely that artificial intelligence will choose this building as the next meteorite impact point.
2) the game has a list of coordinates of the next ten points for a meteorite strike.
You can see this list of coordinates by opening a file with saving your game.
If you wish, you can use the cheat, edit the file with the save and change or completely erase the coordinates for meteorites to fall.
But I would not recommend doing this, because in this case, without meteorites, playing becomes too easy.
A link to the guide where it is described how it is possible to edit the file with saving: https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=537016058
3) how I would like to improve the game and what to change in meteorites.
It would be nice to make sure that the meteorites do not disappear after the fall, but remain on the map. Meteorites usually contain rare chemicals and metals that are not on this planet.
It would be good to make such an opportunity so that it would be possible to send colonists or bots to the place where the meteorite fell and they could find new useful resources at the place where the meteorite fell.
Adding a similar mod or update to the game would greatly diversify and improve the game.
But it seems that these my wishes will remain only in dreams :-)
