If you lost your save, don't worry. If you didn't started a new game there is a way to restore it.

1. Go to user folder and find .prefs folder.
2. There is a save file called nyctophilia.
3. Open it as a text file.
4. Find a string called "saved" and set its value to "true".
5. Now you can load your save from the game.

Now the game saves itself in the beginning of each level, so you don't lose your progress if something is wrong.
