I certainly would welcome another game in this style, art and music are fantastic, but I am unsure if there should be a season 3.

I have read several books where the author added another book after the ending, for whatever reason (probably money). Same with movies, there are countless horrible sequels. Probably everybody can name a few.

So, If the developers feel that parts of the story are untold, go for it. If not, then that's fine too.

I know what you mean. Don't ruin it for sake of milking it. But if the author will start new similar story in different universe but similar in the twisted sick taste, then I'm going to buy it. I tried few similar games and I couldn't get what I got from this. If the game will have good story, huge pixels and yet beutiful art, insane music like this then I don't care if this story continues or there is new story. I'm not finicky about continuing this story line, I just want more games like this and less games like layers of fear.

they could make a new game in the same "universe" as the others but have a new characters with their own stories etc. there's just not enough games like this. i remember when the first season started on their website, i purchased it and was instantly hooked, and always left craving for more. and always once the day came that a new episode was out, it was the best feeling.

Yes exactly if the universe, the style and quality stays and the story is about somebody else and different event's I would love it. I would pay for it 30 euro.

I would recommend checking out the game The cat lady, it's the only game I like as much as The last door.

Blasphemous - gorgeus game. I played narrative prototype v10.6. Lore is amazing. So many secrets. It is another genre (metrodvania), but its great. Hope they will publish on steam (This epic store exclusivity, nowadays, is not good). Even if they publish here for 50$ ill buy it.

I think a society keeping the last door post 2 would provid a good plot. Lets face it can the door be found again. The founder would hav to avoid being named to stop plot damag yet it could be fun being one step ahead....
