If you create rules in one agreemant you should fulfill those rules of the agreement. You should at least fulfill the agreement for the ones that you've already obtained the private informations from!
No it wasn't. Someone got pissed and overreacted, not thinking of any long term issues which in this day and age, especially with Indy Dev's where one bad day of PR can sink you. By revoking the keys, it hurt paying customers interested in your game, it didnt hurt whatever scam sites (not Fanatical) that got the keys. Whoever made the decision should update their resume since this move is really hurting Pera Games. Those are just my thoughts from a business and PR direction.
Either way is bad. Would a developer be that petty at losing a contract to ruin it for a lot of people? Who knows guess we will find out later.

We are aware of an issue with Steam keys for Overfall, which we sold in our Origins Bundle in 2018.
We are in contact with the original publisher and developer to rectify the issue as quickly as possible, and will provide more details therein. We strongly refute any unfounded allegations around trust and can assure you that Fanatical continues to act with integrity, ensuring that all of our products are officially licensed.
We will email back with more information as soon as we have spoken with the publishers and developers.
