how else to get people to talk about your game or company?
I mean if this didnt happen would your attention not have been on something else? Instead you like other contribute to it with a forum post etc. with nobody even having to pay you for your time. Most people would not even have known or paid any attention to the developer name Pera Games but thanks to your post it now has more publicity.
It's not free advertising when there are people who follow these fraudsters like bloodhounds and pay the price for it, like linking The first men discord here, thus proving that they are scammers.
This does not do any favors to their NPCs whom they convinced that they did nothing wrong. Hell, they are sending their shills here to pat their oh so benevolent developers
Bad advertising is not free advertising. It charges a very high price.
Done. Thank you.
That's why you also try to get the real names of the crooks. If you dig deeper, you will find some of them.
Presumably the people who formed Gathering Tree bought out the other owners, since they became listed as the Developer for Overfall[steamdb.info] (but not the publisher, presumably because the game was shipped and contractual payment/royalty obligations existed), and also took over as both Developer and Publisher for the unpublished games Battle Commanders[steamdb.info] and The First Men[steamdb.info].
