The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing: Final Cut

Windows 10 x64 Black Screen with cursor and sound only
So I recently installed 'The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing: Final Cut' and when I went to start the game, it would load to a black screen with just a cursor and sound playing in the background. It took me a while to correct this so I wanted to share the fix with everyone.

1. Go into the game directory (commonly located at C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing Final Cut)
2. Find VanHelsing.exe, rename it to VanHelsing.exe.old (or something else if you wish)
3. Rename VanHelsing_x64.exe to VanHelsing.exe (OR rename the VanHelsing_x86 if you are on a 32 bit aka x86 system)

If you are using Win10, install every update for your system, including

Reinstalling,same problem. With the file glVanhelsing the game works in windows but without steam damn. Try to resolve this problem damn, not all are good in knowledge of pc files.

Worked for me, thank you! As I am playing on Win10 DX9, I had to rename the VanHelsing_x64_win10.exe.

Whenever it would do that to me all I would do is close the game then start again.
It kinda feels like there is a glitch with the graphics engine at times during loading.
