Don't have 4k but it doesn't look improved on 3440 x 1440.

DirectX is patchy, switching between versions might allow a good display - until it breaks again. I settled on DX9 a long time ago with this game.

I have to ask,
how to you people get those resolution sizes? I only see a max of 2560x1440 in the settings.
I'm using a 4K display btw.
From memory, W8 and above require Desktop to be 1:1 scaling, 100% before the higher game resolutions can be detected/enabled.

You are absolutely correct! Didn't occur to me to set the desktop to 100% since no other game requires that to support 4k (it is also not the recommended scale).

Now, to answer OPs question,
after switching to 4k, what I noticed is the text and everything related to it (eg. menus, etc.) being clearer but the actual game and graphics is still blurry like it has been 'stretched' to fit the resolution.

I don't think there has been any upgrade to the original graphics tbh.
Anyone use the Van Helsing Final Cut: High Resolution Texture Pack ( https://store.steampowered.com/app/416400/Van_Helsing_Final_Cut_High_Resolution_Texture_Pack/ ) ? I had it once but I was on 1200P and didn't rate it then; better screen now but only wet string to get online with, is it worth downloading?
