Upload to Imgur
What account does the upload selection upon first use of ShareX go to? Is there a way to login/upload to my own Imgur account instead? I basically got this app because win+prtscrn in GTA 5 is now today closing the game fullscreen and into windows 11. ShareX I opened and was excited for instead of win+prtscrn I could just simply press prtsc, but just now prtsc closes the GTA 5 full screen and there is windows 11. Before ShareX prtsc did nothing (today) in GTA 5 and I had the problem occuring today of win+prtsc now simply prtsc closes Steam GTA 5 window. Otherwise just pressing prtsc when shareX is open takes screenshot. I am going to try Vampire Survivors to see if prtsc works in that game and issue is only in GTA 5

I fixed it. I found the resource and linked it to my Imgur account. ok, so then in GTA 5 if I turn FnLock off an hear a click onscreen of PrtSc, but then no file in ShareX. It does not kick me out of full screen in GTA 5 without FnLock on but I cannot locate any saved screenshot.

PrtSc is a toggle key in GTA 5 now, so with FnLock off and simply pressing PrtSc the screen shot is not taken, only in menu screen it moves the menu selector down. So I am back to drawing board on this one. It must mean that key bindings in GTA 5 now have something bound to the PrtSc key, but I can find that in any setting. With FnLock on yesterday win+PrtSc would take screenshot, today it exits and now with FnLock off Fn + PrtSc exits full screen to Windows 11 and just PrtSc toggles the menu.

Unfortunately now, with ShareX open and FnLock off PrtSc does not take a screenshot with this button, it opens a Lenovo action window on the top the screen to then select a screenshot item a camera for snip is on the left, and a camera next to it for record and then on the left is a selector for snip that has some rectangle and window full screen, all these items delay the ability to take a screenshot with the button. I will have to find out within Lenovo how to remove the key bindings for PrtSc for this function.

To summarize, ShareX for me only seems to take a screen shot using PrtSc when I am in the app with window on front. Otherwise it reverts to Lenovo Laptop setting that opens a suggestor window. And in GTA 5 PrtSc function seems to be disabled today.

I know video games in fullscreen have issue capturing, try fullscreen borderless. Also, I suggest making a hotkey for screencapping. Click on Hotkey Settings > Add new > cogwheel > capture region > override after capture settings, copy image to clipboard, save image to file, and check upload to host for imgur. Destination should auto be set to imgur but you can override and check. Then just set a custom keybind for screencapping.

Also try running ShareX as admin.
