Grass pop-up sprite problem

Hi, this issue has been happening to me for many years, but I wanna know if anyone has a actual fix for it. The thing I'm talking about is this:

The grass pop-up sprite (I don't really know what to call it) looks glitched for some reason, and I don't know what's been causing it. Is it a mod? A problem within the game files itself? I don't know. I've always taken it for granted, but now, I want to fix it. Any pointer?

Oh, hey, I found a fix!

All you have to do is input "whereis materials/detail/detailsprites.vtf" in to the console, uninstall whatever addon is listed, (in my case, there where multiple) and it should be fixed.
