Parabots is best from my experience and comes with dynamic waypoint learning, so it can play custom maps which is a huge bonus.

The installation can be tricky so I went ahead and zipped up my installed copy on Onedrive here[1drv.ms]

Just extract it to the dmc folder then start up the game, create a server and you should see bots spawn in after a couple of seconds.

Check out the readme file if you want to know how to configure the bot.

I am still unable to play with bots. They are bot spawning even when I extracted the folder to dmc

I get an error message that says: invalid message; cannot use broadcast message with a target entity

I can't seem to download the file

Alright fellas I've had to tweak the configuration file to fix the mentioned error, something to do with bot chat causing the problem. I don't know why Steam didn't notify me I was quoted in a thread I posted in, so I am going to quote all of you so you can hopefully see this message.

I've uploaded the file to MEGA now instead of Onedrive and I will update the link in my previous post.

I can't seem to download the file

I've updated the archive to include:

1) My personal Parabot config files to get the most challenge out of the bot by setting it to aggressive settings and a copy of my listenserver.cfg which allows the game to be paused and the Fraglimit is set to 50 by default.

2) My personal collection of custom maps which I enjoy.

3) Replacement Quake HUD and sounds if you want the experience to more closely resemble the former.
