Started to play for a second time, get the small starting up screen, which fades away after a few seconds. Tried verifying - said OK - deleted game and downloaded again, still will not start . . .

I'm in the process of updating HIII:PE to HIII:DX. In the meanwhile, I've broken the Leaderboards, which were going to be reset anyway due to the huge number of changes in this new build. So it *will* crash if you play it right now. I'm working on a fix. Bear with me....

Hi, when I load the game, my Steam Controller analog stick always pushed UP (moving up) on the thumb stick. I can't get the thumb stick to stop moving UP in menu or in game and I can only move left and right. I tried different templates and even calibrate the controller. But turning off Steam Controller and use keyboard is fine. PS: Having autofire is not a real shoot em up. Could you add an option to turn off autofire? Also maybe add Endless Mode with one life would add replay value....

I had the same issue that others are having (Win 10 64 bit, decked out puter, clean install) and got the game to run by renaming steam_api.dll to anything else. I don't know if it will have any detrimental effects, but it started right up. YMMV

Doesn't start, no error message, just nothing.
