For Those Who Loved This Game
I would HIGHLY recommend checking out Tinker Tech. It seeks to recreate the feel of this game and has a large healthy community! Along with that, there are plans to have a tool to convert MC creations to work with Tinker Tech.

for all I see is that they have a dead twitter account last used in 2021

TT is being made by the players who loved MCN and has been makinf community updates for MCN

I don't have a link, but the discord server is very active with updates being added frequently.

I would problem is it doesnt have a lot of machines like machinecraft yet

I don't remember if it was said or not but I think you're able to port machines from Machinecraft to Tinker tech.
