I can't quit the game either. If I press the keyboard, the whole pc crashes and only closing windows.

UP. Developers, can You do anything?

Yeah, just bought the game, and surprised to see such an old game has such major bug that hasn't been patched out yet, shame on the dev.

I know this is an old thread, but here's what I found works for me.

First, press Alt-Tab to temporarily get out of the game and to your desktop (if you're in full-screen).

Then open the Task Manager by right-clicking on the Taskbar (the bar at the bottom of the screen) and choose Task Manager. Alternatively, you can open the Task Manager by press-Ctrl-Alt-Delete and choosing Task Manager.

Once the Task Manager is open, choose "MightyGunvolt.exe (32-Bit)" in the list and click End Task.

Mighty Gunvolt freezes the entire desktop if you try to quit the game while in full-screen mode. Even if you press escape or alt-f4, it still freezes the entire desktop, requiring a hard reset since the game is hogging the display even though it's "closed".
