How does Cross-Counter work?
As it says.

I haven't yet seen this thing flash up. It states it is a counter attack that can be used from a defensive stance.

Even when I have block and dodge slotted in, it doesn't seem to activate.

I think it's a 'dodge' in itself. So it can activate whenever you get attacked, like dodge and block.

Before I waste the day and then be disappointed, could I get confirmation that Cross-Counter is a third slottable "Dodge" (in addition to Wind Flow Dodge and Crossroads) that works with Unstoppable? Three chances to dodge seems pretty powerful with 20 agility even if I'm forced to take Muscle Memory (str 4) to get it.

Does Tormentor Strikes trigger with counter attacks, specifically Crossroads and Unstoppable? Lowering an opponent's agility when he misses would be sweet. I could go pure counter attack?

It doesn't increase your dodge chance, but it does increase your counterattack chances, apparently.
Apologies for Necro-ing the post, but for those who picked up PC1 for cheap and fell in love or those who are coming to PC1 after finishing PC2.

Counter cross is just like the Crossroads ability from Tiger skill-tree, deals a flat amount of damage to an opponent and they are both dodge skills.

Test1 :

I paid Silver to Spar, removed all my attacks and selected Block+Countercross.

When being attacked you have a chance to trigger Countercross OR Block. Not both.

If Countercross is the one that triggers, you also have a chance to dodge or fail the dodge. If you dodge you deal a flat amount of damage to your opponent that hurts their Health and Energy.

Test2 :

I asked Roy to Spar, removed all my attacks and Block, left only Countercross and some buffing skills.

When being attacked you have a chance to trigger Countercross.

If it triggers you have a chance to dodge the hit and take 0 damage and Roy takes 5-6 damage and loses a bit of energy.

If it doesn't trigger or doesn't succeed the dodge, you take regular damage.
