Play Battleborn in 2023: stop requiring discord edition!

If you're a self respecting person who doesn't use discord and does want to play Battleborn - here are the instructions that people who use discord seem to be unable to just post:

The "old" instructions appear to be your classic "download a zip with an exe and dll, right click game in library and browse local files, then paste exe/dll into '...\common\Battleborn\' - launch game using exe shortcut".

The most recent update only requires ReBornInstaller per developer; copy of the most recent notes:

Hello All! This is the third release of ReBorn, focused entirely on fixing the most common issues with the second release.

+ Added a new installable GUI launcher! Bye-bye command line!
+ Added an Auto-Update system, so you don't have to reinstall from Discord every time I change something!
+ Added FoV controls to the launcher (capped at 110)
+ Added Mouse Sensitivity controls to the launcher
+ Added Subtitle support to the launcher
* Fixed an issue where the character wouldn't change from Oscar Mike
* Fixed an issue where the selected map wouldn't load
* Fixed an issue where taunting on match start would disable controls

If you experience any weirdness, be sure to drop a report in <#1173350682263302215>

Installation Instructions:
- You don't need to uninstall the previous version of ReBorn
- Put the install exe anywhere, and run!

Very nice, ♥♥♥♥ discord, really needs to die already especially for important stuff like this, make a forum like normal people.

I admit i could have thought about it, but forgot as i try to communicate on other plateforms, while not being at my job, the revival of the game.

I'm a discord user, but it's not a platform i loved, like tylo413 said, i prefer forums. However, i accepted that you have to adapt, and even if i still don't like the plaform, it helped a lot and maybe is the reason the game came back. Before the revival, it helps a friend to get

All i wan to point is, yes, we made a mistake, and now, let's be respectfull to each other and work together to help this revival be heard everywhere ^^ :)

Discord is a nescecary evil, but not relying on the app for this mod is nice. Thank you!

Probably because it has executables to download and the address is unknown to the database for now.
Neither the website nor the exe required to run the game are malicious,; the latter I checked with Malwarebytes and Bitdefender but at the end of the day the decision is entirely up to you.

I pick the first map and a character and hit the run button and nothing happens, I've definitely pointed it to the game folder in steam, am I missing a step?

Can anyone inv to Deadlock? I was a massive BB fan and have never found a game to take it's place! I would love to check out Deadlock and see if it can scratch the same itch as BB did!
