Sudden crashes/DDOS Attack
When i was trying to figure out why the game crashes, i couldnt help but notice the Community Server tab within the server list sure had servers, but most of them were just asian gibberish and the player count on them was 180/180.

Im thinking this game is under a DDOS attack, but why?

Id understand if the game was popular and someone was plotting its downfall but, With the playercount we got? These attackers are kicking a dead corpse, Not that im saying the game is full on dead just, I dont believe attacking a game with a playercount like this game got is worth anything, They waste their hardware on attacking this game, We waste time trying to fix the game for ourselfes, and devs are wasting their time asking for output logs, If those askings arent automated that is. Litteraly nobody gains from this.

One of my friends is playing V1, and it seems fine, but V2 is actually unplayable, hell i even tried booting up a local server, still kicked me out of the whole game after two minutes.

Well, one thing is for sure, these servers are packed with bots. Question is, whats the purpose of all that...

Either (as you mentioned), they might be there to cause some havoc. They most likely are the sole reason why other players cant join multiplayer servers or cant even list them. The question still remains, why would anyone waste the electricity, HW and time for blocking access to servers of this dead game.

The more probable option is that they are actually hired to keep the numbers of this game on high values. Then from the steam charts, this game might appear more active than it actually is and it may be the reason why we still see lost souls around here that mysteriously bought this game but are in fact surprised that its an empty place with just bunch of cheaters.

I honestly think that the second option is correct. Perhaps some chinese companies do provide these services. Owner just gives free copies to the second party and then they in return for a reasonable price provide the bots that on the outside appear as actual players.
