I had this error when I tried to play squad, so I decided to restart my steam, that's when I got the permanent ban, honestly I'm trying to understand the reason until now and what could lead to this, I tried in every way to contact offworldindustries but they delete my account on the website, so on discord they tell me to contact Eazy Anti-Cheat and there they only receive the email but they don't return it, it seems that they don't care about the players, I bought this game there in 2016 when they were still in their infancy, but I get a stab in the back, I was praising this game to everyone, saying it was so realistic, so they do this to me :steamthumbsup:

It could've happen because you had some sort of "memory editing" software running in the background.

the only thing that could be is two programs that I installed on my computer, one is from AMD that edits the colors of the lights on my video card, and another is a CHEAT ENGINE program that I had installed, but it was always not open in background, I don't believe it's him, and even if it was open he wasn't applying anything to the game.

If your forget about Cheat Engine running in the background and try to run Squad it can make EAC to think that you're a hacker. If you do that several time in a row this can possibly cause a VAC ban I think.

well in my case i was banned at first, i had just installed the squad because i updated my video card and went to test it, so i get the first message and as soon as i manage to enter a server i am banned, from what i saw here the first message this is a bug that was fixed but I don't know if it was this bug that led to my banishment, in fact I should at least know what caused my banishment, but I wasn't even warned that I was just banned

its an issue thats been there for months. supposedly they fixed it, but not for everyone, and since then nobody is bothered fixing it anymore. neither the devs of this game nor the devs of EAC are bothered. i've written several tickets to them and they just ignore it, so basically you can remove Squad from your library and forget about it

it's a stab in the back, because I've had this game since 2016 and I've always praised it for being very realistic, I've told my friends and even recommended it, so today I'm faced with this, the squad developers and Eazy anti-cheat making light of it, yeah a shame.

completely agree.
you can google around for some fixes that have worked for other people though (theres A LOT of people that have/had this issue), maybe you're lucky, but for me none of them worked. I just check here every now and then to see if maybe the devs sorted it out, but I guess since the game still works for the majority of people they don't care.

to me they just say they can't do anything, they tell me to go complain to Eazy Anti-Cheat so they push me there, I'm sure I can't recover this account anymore, so I already left my negative review for this emote company
