When you start the game as a jobber you get to build a town from scratch and place buildings and services. It's the best part of the game in my opinion, with a good game loop connecting your progress with your ability to siege or defend. When I got promoted from a jobber to someone of status, the game scope and stakes rose significantly, which is fine, but it seems like you no longer build or manage lands on a minor scale?

I sort of expected that you'd just have to manage more lands, but it looks like you just get the one plot of land to build? Am I missing something? The game is quite deep, so it's not impossible for me to miss something. I played this a while ago and am thinking about going back to it. Back when I played it, information was pretty scarce.
