I apologize if this has been addressed elsewhere and I've missed it but...

I've been trying to play this with my friend and we keep running into a bug where after an election, they can't proceed to results, and if they back out of the screen, we just stay in an endless loop of the game trying to finish the turn. This has broken multiple games we've tried to run, sometimes starting as early as the second election cycle.

We've had it happen with vanilla, we've had it happen with the ESG mod, and I even tried installing the no election mod which just straight up did nothing. I've tried signing up for the hotfix beta as well with nothing helping this issue.

Is there some kinda fix for this I'm not finding in my search results on here? I didn't see anything in the common issues pin thread either.

Oh, I should also note we avoided getting the academy and hacking DLC, so we don't have those, but we have everything else.
