Gameplay
This game had me interested since day 1, yet i was disappointed in its launch set back. Now that it has been updated, i cannot find one decent gameplay video showing how the game has become!

I really want to support it, but i would like to see a new gameplay video!

Early Access games are funded by people backing us, we litterally keep the lights on with sales. If you want the game to succeed, buy the game.

I'm sure people are streaming/broadcasting/etc, the harvesting broke with this patch so people can't do much at the moment. This issue will hopefully be fixed Friday in time for the weekend.

@moerappit, thanks for your continued interest. Once we initiate the switch on friday to the new AI system and get triggers working correctly on wood cutting, I'll be taking gameplay videos demoing what we have so far. Thank you for your patience!

Making a trailer at this point subtracts from development, so we can either keep developing more content or take a step back and do what people on YouTube can do here in a week or two. If you want to support the game, buy a copy. If you dont want to participate in the sale, buy it full price :-).

will most probably support eitherway...when can we expect the switch to the new AI system and get triggers working correctly on wood cutting??

Of course, we're only about 1/5th in on the core of the game. Basic resource gathering, crafting, building, combat and AI are the pillars of any RTS game and we're about there right now. The other 4/5th of the work is the extra stuff that is missing from RTS games that SHOULD have been made years ago; but this is our niche, and we are looking at probably the end of December to get to that point. It's an Early Access title, this'll move pretty fast and tons of stuff will change every week.

@moerappit I'd say probably Monday. Lots of progress today, navmesh updates, task system, behavior trees, area-searching, dynamically resized info ui bars, all that good stuff. I have to plug it all back in, but the core is ready for it.

Yeah, for the most part it comes down to people playing it and when its to a point we can do a bigger push for players. Advertising is very expensive, and aside from a crowd funding campaign there isn't much we can do! There is a strategy that would have worked very well if we hadn't run into such massive issues on launch, but we are quickly approaching the time to use that strategy. Pretty much having a Steam game gives you all kinds of people who contact you, and we've got a really big list of YouTube gamers that have keys. Probably around the end of November we will be doing a push for LetsPlay users, among our other contacts. It hurt us pretty badly that people didn't keep the game, we have a really high refund rate but thats understandable based on what happened at launch. We're litterally just focusing on getting the game to a very stable, very feature packed state before we do that.
