Black Screen

So I just got this game, and when I start it, all I see is a black screen. No sound, no music, nothing. I don't know why that is, but that is what I am currently seeing. I'd like to enjoy this game if at all possible. Any help is appreciated.

i got a black screen too, but i managed to play it somehow. Try go to the local file of Aviary Attorney and run "dxwebsetup.exe". Install it and run the game again.

You helped me, thanks! However, directx installer just told me, that a newer version existed and didn't do anything. But the game ran fine afterwards. Weird

yeah, i also got that message, but it worked. Well, enjoy! i had fun with it lately
