Yeah, now and then I check on whether there is any progress with the announced CPUCores ADVANCED Update, but it is nowhere to been seen. I was hoping that it would make CPUCores relevant again with newer systems.

Well, it was never planned to be an upadte. It was a newer software type to be bought. For a specific time (which I don't know atm) you were able to wishlist already CPU Cores Advanced. But they got some problems with Valve as it seems and the new software got removed from the steam store

it depends on how you use it. If you're on a iGPU it can make the exact opposit

Asked the developer on Twitter, god knows when, to pay attention to the problem, but he just ignores it.
