Over 5000 hours and I am in the same boat.

just use S.A.M (steam achievement manager)

i think steam will notice when all achivements are unlocked all at once within 10 seconds

they literally do not care. Steam achievements actually don't give the players anything anyways unless the game hooks them in as well.
plus its the only way to remove some achievements from your bloat (take a look at my rarest achievement showcase, i dunno why that game has achievements that are rarer than everything else i've ever earned but whatever)
