Vault 15 "the chip ain't here" notification
I'm not new here, I played this game many times. I'm just curious on what actually triggers the "the chip isn't in this location, you must find it somewhere else" or whatever it says exactly.

Usually i just loot everything and move on, but I haven't noticed the pop up in quite a long time, ever since my first playthrough like a decade ago. How long must the player wait in the vault for the notification to appear?

Run towards the collapsed overseer room.

doesnt it have something to do with reaching the command center and getting the xp?
I think that once you reach it and see stuff broken, you get the notification

Once you get close enough to the rubble of the collapsed overseer room is when it triggers. If you go back to vault 13 and down to the overseer room, you'll know which one it is. Those floors are identical.

Also if you're looking for flavor text above your pc, iirc, it doesn't do that, its just a note in the bottom left.
