It's a small team of developers. you have no idea if any of them need additional training, money spent on crew, resources etc. There's always a chance they'll add it in later even if goal iasn't reached. Depends on reception once game officially hits early access for sale, and game reception. Or it'll be death by abandonment, who knows? With all due respect my guess is, you don't develop games so understanding the costs are probably a little but out of any of our understanding. Unfortunately.

Good job doing what you're doing. Just remember people quickly forget about games and move on, so do your best to stay relevant on social media and I'm sure so long as you have the passion, you'll see the success you so far deserve.
