gm >> Use god mode to avoid any teleport damage with the commands below.
teleport ['planet name'] >> (planet name must be under brackets like 'planet name' if more than 1 word). Gets you to the surface of any planet in the galaxy. You can use it when in a ship or without ship, if you use it without ship then use God mode or you will fall down to the planet surface and die.
Important: Make a BACKUP before using these teleport commands, it can screw-up the savegame if you get the planet name wrong, it must be case sensitive and a valid name otherwise...good bye savegame in many cases.
Use console to fix the problem. Spawn in a warp SV with "sbp". Fuel it with promethium and pentaxid from the item menu "im". Dock your HV to it and warp home. After you've landed, undock your HV. Look at the SV's ID number in its control panel. Destroy it with the "destroy" function and the SV's ID number. Finally, dump any extra fuel from the item menu in the trash and enter "sbp" and "im" in the console one more time to toggle those functions off.
There's probably a simpler teleport method, but using a ship entails more mundane mechanics.
Very important question to help get this bug squashed:
Are you playing the default survival game? Or a custom scenario?
