Do you think they overbuffed Thrill of the Hunt?
Went against Thrill of the Hunt quite a few times last night when combined with other hex perks and ngl it feels almost impossible to get rid of them. Whether it be devour, ruin, pentimento or undying they can really screw survivors over super quick with the thrill buff going from 50% to 70%. You really notice how slow it is and its brutal, I think it was fine at 50% tbh but how do you all feel about it?

i think it feels the same bud i went onlz once against thrill so im no so sure
Every match is thrill + ruin + devour + penti match now. I'm sick of it. Insta DC btw because it's just not fun hunting thrill and penti totems down as a solo survivor. And if you don't, you get mori'd because of devour. I don't know what the devs were thinking when they put those absurd numbers on thrill.

After so many years are you really surprised? You just have to watch the streams they made. They only talk about a very few isolated things but never seem to understand cynergies. i would bet quite a bit on the point that they do not even thought about such combinations.

The pattern is always the same and i have seen it in so many other businesses. this really looks like a very overwhelmed leadership. they lost the oversight and just pick up the most urgent bugs and adjustments without testing wide enough.

the really sad part is that still today in this state dbd is into they could grow a lot and i mean A LOT, because there is nothing comparable in this niche dbd is into.

sadly after watching so many "streams" and "dev news" it is clear that this will never happen without fundamental changes in team leadership and priorities. so we all have to live with the usual pattern all pvp games have: today one side is overpowered, tomorrow the other side and repeat.

yep it's broken, i have similar threads here about totems, totems cleansing progress should not reset!

Ok, slow down there, totem progress not resetting is a wild suggestion. Just nerf it back again, progress not resetting would hurt the hex perks a bit too much, since you wont be able to defend them at all

then face the darkness or houndmasters dog will interrupt you (screaming addon), nope it should stay!

I don't need to be shut up, I'm expressing my opinion as a solo survivor, enough of the buffs on the killers and their perks, I'm tired of it

Yes, totems MUST have a way to be defended. It's the same idea with gens, if you can't regress the gen, the whole mechanic becomes stale

then at least half of the progress should remain, totems need a normal rework
Its annoying but its just mean you need to play safer and drop pallet more often in chase so you can buy more time before you go down and hope no one waste time on totem.

Just a small reminder that every survivor said that the 5% nerf on pain res was nothing when in reality it was a 20% nerf and its the same with thrill its only a 4% buff that make it a 20% buff total when it have all of his token so by the same standard that buff is meaningless and should stay in the game.

Awful take as usual and terrible comparison. No doubt you're enjoying winning virtually every match with your hex builds.

How unsurprising that you're taking the fallacious us vs them route also. As though anything you've said has anything to do with the topic.

Being sneaky with the numbers is a bit disingenuous of you too. That "only a 4% buff" has almost doubled the time it takes to cleanse each totem (from 28 seconds to 46 seconds) and totems can be re-lit with Pentimento or interrupted via several methods. But sure, word it as "4%" to make it sound insignificant.
it was bugged to be insanely potent and then they fixed the bug only to buff it to bugged levels of potency

I can agree with this part at least. Can we have totems that aren't next to gens, in the open, and cannot be cleansed in the first 16 seconds of a match (or comically 1 sec after they activate)? If so then I can see your condition as well.

After thinking about it how would you handle 99ing totems? Decay? Trap totems would completely worthless if you can 99. You could also 99 to bless totems faster circumventing a balancing mechanic.

So you want to make hex's useless? Sure. As soon as survivor stuff gets gutted.
