Denuvo anti-cheat system
Dear Players,
We’ve received comments and support requests from some of you regarding bans related to Denuvo anti-cheat reports, and we understand there are concerns about the accuracy of these restrictions. Our goal is to maintain a positive community atmosphere, ensure fair gameplay, and provide safety for all our players. We want to clear up any misunderstandings about these bans in this post.

Our game utilizes the Denuvo anti-cheat system for PC players to detect the use of third-party software or other means that may subvert game mechanics and gain an unfair advantage. Our EULA strictly prohibits such actions. When the system detects such software, we review the activity and enforce account restrictions in accordance with our rules.

We’ve also been asked if Denuvo might falsely report developers who use their work tools while playing the game. We want to assure you that we have not encountered any false positives of this nature. Our developers regularly play the game using their tools, and we’ve also conducted extensive testing to ensure accuracy.

To maintain the integrity of our security measures, we cannot disclose specific details about the exact software it detects. However, rest assured that the system is designed specifically to identify software that interferes with game mechanics for cheating purposes. Additionally, we carefully review support requests and examine restricted accounts to ensure no mistakes were made, and every time we find proof our anti-cheat system works correctly.

We also advise against using any kind of cheating software of unknown origin downloaded from the internet, as it may not only result in a banned account in Fishing Planet but could also pose serious security risks, including malware that might compromise sensitive data such as payment information.

We hope this helps clarify things. We care about our community and want to make sure everyone feels safe and enjoys the game.
Tight lines, and thanks to all who play the game fairly!

I have been banned from the game.
I've been contacting the team since December 14th, but it hasn't been resolved. When I enter the game, it pops up with a notification that I have been banned from the game.
I've tried deleting the game and reinstalling it. I've tried changing the steam account and still can't get in. I've tried resetting the internet and it still can't. Do you know if anyone can help me?

Do you really not know what banned means? Only Fishing Planet support can tell you why you were banned, assuming you don't know why.
It's more than likely recognizing you IP address.
Try VPN...
You can also get this game from Microsoft store or get one on PlayStation

So are you going to tell us why you were banned? Inquiring minds want to know.

I don't know. After finishing Division 1 on December 14th, it was like this. I asked support and they told me it wasn't banned. Many of my friends had this problem.

Can you play other Steam games? Sure sounds like an IP address ban so either you or someone on the same IP address did something bad.

I can play every game on steam normally, just can't play. fishingplanet only
You had to have done/said something to warrant the ban, so come clean and tell us. It's not like we have any actual control over the situation outside of trying to get you back on.
If someone other than yourself plays fishing planet from your home IP address and you are not on the white list ( authorised by game admin family with more than 1 player) you will get banned. All part of the shake up by FP to stop multi accounts.

Also slightly reading between the lines you said you have another steam account . Both will show up with the same IP address that's another reason you could of gotten the Ban.
I have another Steam account that I used mainly just to restart FP years ago. Used both accounts for a few years and never had a problem. What must you do to actually get banned because of two accounts? Play them at the same time and the same place/competition? It really doesn't matter to me since I don't use that other account anymore for fear of having both banned.
