Freeze on Getting Argent Cell
I keep freezing when picking up the Argent Cell on Mission 7. Only that mission, every other one works fine. Game runs great. No issues besides this so far.

Decided to work this time, just went a head in the level farther and came back to it.

Had the exact same issue happen. Not 100% certain if it was the 7th level or not (haven't been counting), but it was the Destroyed Argent Tower level (first level after returning from Hell). Froze on me twice, searched and found your message here, tried it and it worked, so thanks!

happened once to me

GTX970

and I think it was in the same mission too. on top of a cliff outside.

I found also that if I do the gore pile first, I can access the cache without freezing up.

GTX980 here. Freezes just after the character crushes the orb. Will try to reach the next checkpoint and then return.
