Steam cloud save support?

I've played a bit of this game, but noticed that it does not seem to support cloud saves. I tend to play on both a PC and a steam deck fairly regularly so having saves move transparently is a good thing. I also know with the recent release, that the dev is mostly focused on game breaking issues or things that can be quickly fixed right now rather than other features.

Is there any indication of if/when this kind of support might be added?

Cloud Saves don't seem to be working for me yet. It doesn't show anything under properties
ether.

Thank you, I'm glad you're loving it!

I fear cloud saves were only enabled for a few hours due to them unexpectedly causing some players to lose their saves. You can read about that in more depth here: https://store.steampowered.com/news/app/378690/view/7409056619623908850?l=english

It will take me a few weeks to ensure the bad Cloud Save data is properly cleared, I have more sufficient backup save functionality in place, and that this is all thoroughly tested before I turn it back on.

My apologies for the delay on this, I know it's a very nice feature to have! Happy to explain how to manually transfer saves if you'd like to move from one device to another.

Any updates on the availability of cloud saves? I also go between my ROG Ally and desktop PC and would love to be able to resume my save on either device. Thank you!

I am currently finishing up a larger update patch for Potions that should be out this week which will add logic that will create additional save backups locally. Then I will enable cloud saves on the next patch, as it will have the save backups to fall back on if there are any issues with the cloud saves.

I apologize for the delay, I just want to be extremely cautious due to the issues caused by enabling it last time.
