After the new content update released earlier today, including a new 9th ending, Girl's Graveyard being added to the main game without the need for the Goodie Bag DLC, that DLC getting more concept materials & old versions of the games, WASD movement, etc., had a few minor bugs I wanted to fix along the Rot ending path. I've fixed them now!

I expect one more bug patch to fix anything else that may pop up, and then I think Close Your Eyes [Old Version] will be fully completed. Full focus and steam ahead to go to the remake. Close Your Eyes [Original Version] has now been updated to Version 1.3 for the Yai Gameworks 10-year anniversary celebration! The update includes the following:

-Brand new 9th ending added to Close Your Eyes!
-Girl's Graveyard made part of the main game (no Goodie Bag DLC required)! The entrance to Girl's Graveyard was moved to near the cassette room.
-WASD controls added (also can use E, F, & Shift to confirm, Q, R, Control to Deny).
-Can now speed up the credits a little bit.
-Achievements for the new ending & Girl's Graveyard ending now unlockable.
-Store Page updated.
-Goodie Bag DLC's price has been lowered from $1.99 USD to $0.99 USD. 13 new concept art sketches added, 4 new official art pieces added, 52 new "alternate" art stills added.
-Goodie Bag DLC also now includes the original Ludum Dare 29 version of Close Your Eyes, the original Redux version of Close Your Eyes, the Beta Test version of Close Your Eyes Redux Final Expansion, the original 2013 version of Girl's Graveyard, the 2014 Girl's Graveyard Redux version, and the January 2018 version of Close Your Eyes Remake (Version 0.01).

Hey! Did you know we're approaching Yai Gameworks 10-year anniversary? Well, now you do! I've technically been making games since 2013, starting with Blank Slate, but "Yai Gameworks" was made officially in 2015 as part of becoming a Steam developer to release Close Your Eyes: Redux on Steam.

So I have some surprises for y'all! I'm doing a HUGE 10-year celebration. What does that entail? I'm going to update every single game I've released on Steam. This will start in a few days from now, but the updates will roll out through the next 477 days (until August 31st, 2026).

I will not reveal everything I'm adding to these games here, just the core new additions. I will give no ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival) on any of these, just know that I'll post an update on each game's store page when each one is out (or of course, keep the game installed to be notified when the game updates). Out of all the annual Questionnaire forms I've done, this 2020 one is the most important one so far. During 2020 and leading into early 2021, I have a sorta' time limit to get to a certain financial point in order to pursue game development full time. So I'm going to be trying my damndest during the next 15 months or so to get games out there and to increase my audience size, otherwise making games becomes a thing I do in my spare time (not the worst thing in the world, but it would limit what I can do of course). I've been crunching a lot of numbers, working hard this last year and processing possibilities to make this questionnaire form, but there's a lot of questions I want to get some feedback for from people who already are into my games.

This form will take 15-40 minutes, I ask you please read the text and descriptions I post rather than just looking at the WIP pictures as I will be taking this feedback seriously. I thank you for your time all the same, it does mean a lot to me.

I have a lot going on the hood and trying to get better how I handle announcements and releases, but I can confidently say (unless the game gets held up in Steam's review process) I'll be releasing Dusk Golem's Anthology of Horror on October 30th for $5.99 USD. It is a collection of three playable short horror stories, "Girl's Graveyard Mystery," "I Haunt this Place" and "Wail of Despair. You're going to see more frequent releases from me over the next 10 months. I have been working really hard, but also I have a time limit now in either do or die if I can fully rely on this due to some unfortunate circumstances involving my family being in need and myself needing to be able to provide for myself and others. I'm going to put my all into these next 10 months, and try to complete many partial projects and get them out there (and trust me, I have many).

These three games were originally planned to be separate releases, but as they're all shorter and had a core theme between the three of them I just thought it made sense to release them together, plus I love anthologies.

I hope you guys are having a wonderful Halloween October Month, if you haven't already you can check out a Red Haze Halloween Update currently going on through the month over on the Red Haze page, the Close Your Eyes -Anniversary Remake- update got delayed some again and I apologize for this but some financial burden stuff came up (CYE-AR- is probably my worst performing game right now, but I promise I'll finish it, it does mean something to me), and I also can confirm there will be a small Red Haze update once the Halloween Event is over.

Outside of this I'm gunning to release something or another in November (but not clear which project I'll choose yet), and The Miserable Crimson Hooded Girl will release on December 13th this year. Blossoming Yandere will be delayed until early next year.

The Miserable Crimson Hooded Girl Steam Store Page is now properly up. Those who follow me on YouTube or are part of the official Yai Gameworks Discord may have seen me working some on this and talking about it during the last few weeks.

This was previously the Close Your Eyes Intermission/2: Glass Vedalia page, but I decided to give it it's own page later as it's not a focus right now and probably won't be for a while. Those who beat The Twisted Puzzle and got one of the keys at the end of that will own this game on release automatically for partaking in that.
