I hated Nam but this one they did right. I still have the CD. This game taught me that I am a crappy soldier. Now I play ARMA 3 and I am STILL a crappy soldier but with improved graphics.

The content you provided seems to express excitement and appreciation for a game, possibly Duke Nukem 3D, and mentions the use of a source port called Eduke for enhancing the gaming experience. The screenshots shared appear to showcase the game’s visuals through Eduke.

Duke Nukem 3D: Duke Nukem 3D is a first-person shooter video game developed by 3D Realms. It was released in 1996 and quickly gained popularity for its innovative gameplay, humor, and interactivity within its levels. The game follows the protagonist, Duke Nukem, as he fights against alien invaders in various environments.

Eduke Source Port: Eduke is a source port for Duke Nukem 3D that allows players to enhance their gaming experience by providing features like higher resolutions (such as 1080p), improved controls setup, and potentially other enhancements to graphics or gameplay mechanics. Source ports are modifications of a game’s original source code that aim to improve or expand upon the original game.

Steam Release: The mention of Retroism/Night Dive indicates that there was a Steam release of Duke Nukem 3D facilitated by these entities. Retroism and Night Dive Studios are known for re-releasing classic games on modern platforms like Steam, often with improvements or compatibility updates.

It seems like you are excited about revisiting Duke Nukem 3D through the Steam release and enhancing your experience with the Eduke source port.
