The design of injuries
I think in many other sports games I played, like some basketball games, if a player in team was injured, before he got fully recovered, his attributes would be reduced.

I feel the design of injuries in FTG is interesting, which is, the injured footballer won't get his attributes reduced, but "just" cannot play any match while injured, or, it might mean the footballer also cannot participate in any training. So, for example, if the footballer misses 4 months of matches and trainings, his attributes would "increase zero" in those 4 months, which is like "his attributes get reduced in a different way".

And also, during his injury recovery, his skills development would be paused, too.

Not really any other way to do it when attributes are based entirely on level. There is no "training" per se, so there would be no way to recover lost attributes if injuries decreased them. Plus due to not earning exp anymore and not being able to level up they aren't able to increase either.

Yes, I agree with you.
