Hi there, I've merged your thread with the feedback thread.
Thanks so much for letting us know what you think would make NKOA better. The developer is working on more content as well as other things.
He'll be along shortly, thanks again :)
Thanks for your message. We try to make New Kind of Adventure as awesome as its possible and with your help we will do it for sure!
Please keep telling us your thoughts and we will try to make the next release sooner, as soon as possible!
I don't know what else it does yet so that's all I can suggest.
I'm intrigued to find out how it's gonna turn out.
I will try to implement all this for July release.

yeah camera needs to be worked on turning camera should turn characters i think
also animation a bit glitchy, not smooth especially on human character
also terrain needs to be redone, i mean it looks like like something quickly done
im not talking about the level / folliage, im talking about terrain mesh
The biggest reason I bought this game is for the graphics. The environment looks serene and colorful. Although, Mary’s character model looks out-of-place since she looks more realistic.
As much as I like how the game looks, my opinion changes as soon as I move a character. The camera needs work. In particular, moving your character while moving the mouse left or right makes the character move in circles. Whenever I jump and collide into the wall, there’s a chance I will get stuck inside of it until I stop moving my character.
The sound for this game is lackluster, especially for a game focused on atmosphere and adventure. Currently, only 1 song plays throughout game and it isn’t good. It’s very repetitive and it will get annoying when listening to it for more than five minutes. There are also two sound effects in the game, and that is Aquarius’ instrument and the blooming flowers. Hilariously enough, the song that plays for the instrument is less repetitive than the background music that plays throughout the game. Other than that, the lack of sound effects makes the game feel a lot less immersive than it should. Here are some examples of objects that need sound effects: the waterfall, the teleporters, Aquarius and Mary’s footsteps, the NPCs, jumping, grabbing strawberries/rocks, and the purple river. So yeah, use sound effects, it will make your game a lot more exciting.
Some other recommendations I can suggest is to use draw distance more efficiently. The game lags a bit since everything in the environment is already rendered and the only objects that have draw distance are the yellow glowing flowers outside of the cave. I would also recommend adding an icon to your game. In window mode, the icon I see is the Unity3D logo and the title of the game is “BUC_1”. It’s kind of something I expect fixed by the end of early access, but I feel I should point it out nonetheless.
Overall, this game needs work. While the graphics are superb, the gameplay and sound just ruin it. I’m curious to see how this game will turn out, whether it will become well received or not.

Is this game a project that was being worked on last year that was dropped and is now getting picked back up? Are you committed to actually finishing this game, or will it be abandoned again? I'm leery of buying it (even though it is only $.14) after the whole JOTL ordeal and don't really want another broken game sitting around in my inventory....
So, I'll clear a few things up.
I'm Dan, the owner of Back To Basics Gaming, the company publishing this game.
Mint Age Studios, the developer, is working hard. the New Grounds and Kongregate versions are tech demos. The Steam version is currently being migrated to Unity 5 and certainly not abandoned.
Thanks,
Dan.
