This game is a complete experience from start to finish, and is excellent to this day.
It is not a live service game with constant updates.

The community that bought it and loved it has played it to death and moved on by now. It's an offline single player game, it doesn't matter if anyone else is playing it, only if it's good and if you think you might enjoy it yourself.

and if you have friends, you can try local multiplayer. it just doesnt come with MP over network (though parsec may help here)

Its worth every penny, you have tons of content to ram through. Game is complete and devs said it wont be developed further. (that is, all of us addicts hope for something XD).
