well this is what's happening, no, your pc can't be hacked anymore, they fixed this on the previous patch,

BUT you can still get item inyected, teleported to places with no escape, get a thousands of effects applied to you, this is avoidable using blue sentinels/blue acolyte mod, these ones prevent such ill things, also are 100% safe, i strongly recommend it, specially because if a hacker injects your charcter with a stormruler +20 you are gonna get banned, this mods make such things immposible, i got myself inyected once luckly ... i had BS mod at the moment, the backup saved my character

yes, it backups your savefile before every pvp/co-op match in case someone skilled with CE inyects you bypassing BS mod, just alt+f4 in case you get affected, and load your backup

If you're going to use Blue Sentinel, be aware that as of 2025 there's an unfixed packet checksum value bug in the mod that desyncs user's client around 45min-1hour mark, where every player and AI suddenly "freezes at place" on your screen. It's a good software still, if you're not going to play long co-op sessions.

as at 2025 BS is a useless desync machine because it hasnt been updated for new scripts that were made in past several years. worst thing cheaters can do is killing you or crashing your game, BS prevents none of that

oh that's great, tbh i haven't got quite updated about the cheating "scene" in this game, but well yeah it still prevents you from exactly what you mention...killing or crashing your game, and yes as i mentioned it makes connection a little bit better in my experience with it, i can load wex dusk and some weird skin if i desire too without opening "mod engine", removes the long "bandai namco" intro screen

i can kick out someone who has manipulated his stats...people that like to alter their stats to have 0 luck and invest those points in another spec...me ? personally i don't kick out people...even cheaters xd glad those ill-intended issues are a thing of the past but if BS just became a QoL tool for loading mods it still gives a lot of features compared to other QoL mod loaders
