The game is kaput
I hope the problem is resolved soon. It's the last straw that this war will affect my wallet because I have to pay more for energy. Especially because this damn war could have been avoided! This is a diplomatic failure of all Western politicians. A collective work refusal. The Cold War has been over for over 30 years, and the "West" simply can't stop winning. Digital technology is the only way you can shoot at other people because it doesn't hurt anyone. I understand sanctions against business or politics. What do they gain by punishing all gamers just because a very few people want to make money from it????
In war, the ones who always suffer the damage or are punished are those who have nothing to do with it and who are least responsible for it.
There is no western politician who can do something about their will to have total control over the internet or isolate their citizen from the others. Welcome to the party you've been missing all these years. Now you know.
Let me guess, you didn't do military service, have never held a weapon in your hand and your political perception begins with the annexation of Crimea???? If that's the case, then you should definitely watch old news broadcasts that precede the annexation of Crimea by at least 7 years. Next, everyone who didn't do military service should probably just shut up on this topic, because they won't be the idiots who will have to defend Europe if Putin escalates the situation. But yes, you're right that the servers are blocked now; no Western politician is responsible for that. Wait, yes, they are. Not directly, but indirectly. Because the failure of our politicians happened much earlier. The blocking of the servers is just a consequence of this failure. There is a very high probability that the war would not have happened at all. Anyone who follows the news closely should have noticed that Putin announced everything he did beforehand. And the failure I'm talking about starts with the fact that not a single Western politician took him seriously. They just laughed at every announcement he made. Along the lines of, "That idiot wouldn't do that anyway." He doesn't have the guts to do it anyway. And after the annexation of Crimea, perhaps Moscow should have taken this guy seriously. Because if he really wanted Ukraine, he would have taken it back in 2014 and invaded there. Then the Russians supplied Europe with energy. And not just gas. I think they're still selling the nuclear fuel rods to Europe. They supply the whole of Europe with energy for a very fair price, and the "West" can't meet his simple and most important political demand? Namely, no eastward expansion of NATO. I once heard that you don't bite the hand that feeds you. And the "West" wouldn't mind meeting that demand. Quite the opposite. And someone has to explain to me, as if I were three years old, what a "defense army" called NATO is doing on the Russian border? That's a rhetorical question. If NATO is a defense army, then it has no business being there. And in that context, you can go back really far in history. You'll find that every military alliance, every army that has positioned itself on the Russian border has subsequently invaded Russia. Or do you think the Russians wanted this buffer between NATO and their border out of boredom? Sure, probably just a stupid demand. So it wasn't the Russians who positioned themselves on the NATO border, but the other way around. And that brings us to the next Western provocation: with what arrogance can one place NATO on one's border and act as if it were the most normal thing in the world? Hey, I don't want to know what would have happened if the Russians had placed their military on NATO's border. It's unimaginable.
And I'll leave the point about Nord Stream 2 out of the equation for now. Because anyone who doesn't understand at this point that this project could only be prevented by provoking the Russians so violently that there was no other option left but war, because all other options had already been exhausted, is, in my opinion, just really stupid and should keep their mouth shut on this topic.
And to make one thing clear: I'm a pacifist. I think it's absolutely wrong that Putin is waging war in Ukraine. I served in the military, and I learned something in the process: There's never just one side to blame for a war. There are always two parties involved. I never want to be in the situation where I have to point a gun at someone and then pull the trigger. I'm not pro-Russian either. It simply pisses me off that Western arrogance and the American pressure to prevent Nord Stream 2 led to this war. The only politician who met Putin on equal terms was Merkel. Because he only escalated once she was gone. So Merkel must have done something different than the rest of the Western political failures. And to claim that the West contributed nothing to this escalation is exactly the kind of Western arrogance toward the Russians that I'm talking about here. I pray every day that those of you who share this arrogance will be the first to be drafted into the army when push comes to shove.
Oh, this blatant propaganda, of course, only exists in Russia. There's absolutely no such thing in the "West." It never did. Not even in the Third Reich! Use your brain, please!!!!
