No, I didn't add a save feature to the free play mode. Largely this update was about adding GDPR-compliance so that I can leave the game on Steam.

Ah, shame. I rember you said you might add that, quite a while ago.

Not sure how Letter Quest would be affected by GDPR, but yay for staying on Steam! :)

Nobody really seems to understand how wide-reaching GDPR will be, but it potentially affects every game and game developer if they have any sort of analytics or data collection.

There's nothing on the store page that says Letter Quest collects data, though. There should be an EULA stating what it does collect.

It doesn't collect any data now (before there was anonymous analytics that could be enabled/disabled in the options menu).
