Best way to craft Magical Unlock Scroll?
I ran a search but couldn't find anything other then its best to have crafting level 2. What school is it in? Scoundrel? I know that it is random to make it but I would like to know the best possible way to increase chances of making one. Any info on this would be great. I'm guessing you cannot make a skill book for it? And yes I know it is only for the magical locks, but there are enough of them ( if I remember correctly) that having a couple of the scrolls at least would be nice.

It's in witchcraft.

The reason you read it was recommended to have a crafting level 2 is because higher level crafting skill gives you a chance for higher level scrolls. By limiting the options you can get when crafting witchcraft scrolls, you have a better chance for that specific one.

I don't think you can craft a skillbook for it, but then they changed a number of things, so perhaps that's one of them.

Yeah was just coming to delete this thread. I lucked out and just made one on my first try ever making a scroll period lol. Will leave this here for any who come looking.

Parchment+Pixie Dust= Witchcraft Scroll
Ink Pot and Quill+Pixie Dust=Magic Ink Pot and Feather

Save the game after you have the above. Magic Ink Pot is reusable. Then just combine the Magic ink pot and scroll till you get the Magical Unlock Scroll. If you go thru all your scrolls re-load and repeat.

I lucked out and got one on my first attempt so now can save and try to make a few more without losing out on my scrolls.

If anyone knows whether they changed the system and you can now create a skill book for it let us know, but from what I've seen you cannot.

My Enchanter-Mage stocks up on tons of abilities, so I decided to put it into 2 crafting before I respec her. Grabbed 10 Witchcraft scrolls and start writing them one by one. On first 4 tries, 3 of them are magical unlocks. Guess I'm lucky.

you can not craft it into a book. otherwise their would be no reason for using points into pickpoketing.
just make wichcraft scrools and save .. craft 5 or 10 and look how may you got..if you dont like the result reload..
you dont need make an main char crafter.. jsut send and side char to homested and take a new fresh charak. and skill him crafintg. or pickpoketing for opening chest wich you stored.
YW
