I've been waiting for this game to go on sale, but it looks like the Buy button is gone entirely now. What gives?

So you're likely to have a glitchy or twinkling mouse cursor in the game when you're in full screen. In windowed mode, it doesn't happen but you're stuck in a smaller window that you can't expand. I'm using Windows 10 64-bits. After trying many things, I finally came upon a solution. In the properties of the executable file (ecc.exe) in the game's directory, under the compatibility tab, change the compatibility mode to Windows 95. It fixed the cursor for me. I have downloaded ECC to replay since my mom and I love it years ago, but I've run into a problem. I can't get the orange clue from the harbor, because there is candy in place of the umbrella in my inventory. I picked up the umbrella in the bar, then immediately picked up some candy. The candy replaced the umbrella in my inventory. I can't pick it up again, so now I can't progress! Help please!!...

I've just got the game an everything seems to work well, but the cursor is pixelated and twinkles. Anyone else with this problem?
