Howdy stranger!

Load up your iron horse, connect the coaches, collect your henchmen from the saloon and ready your Winchester. A big journey lies ahead, the ride to NEW WEST, a campaign for the endgame.

The DLC delivers a quest chain with about 12-14 hours play time, new crew members, new equipment, a fancy new steam loco, new places on the map and new resources.

Also included are error fixes, which will be provided to any version of the game, regardless if you own the DLC or the Trainium Ed.

Hey there everyone,

Today we finally can share the latest update for Bounty Train with you - let´s have a look at the latest changes for Bounty Train :)

This time, we focused on remaining bugs, as well as general balancing in the early -, and late game.
We received a lot of feedback on the current state of the game and identified some problems that were holding players back more than we intended originally.

Below you´ll find the list of changes:

- increased durability of locomotive and carriages. These will players early game, and will give you some breathing space, while learning the game mechanics.
- We overhauled the city hall rewards, to be more attractive in the early game and not as potent in the late game, enabling players to choose from the different options instead of being locked into city hall quests.

- corrected dialog options in the saloon locations, when the player is on the lookout for stolen jewelry.
- fixed an issue related to Pearl, where sometimes the follow-up quest would not appear
- fixed an issue related to Samuel, where sometimes the follow-up quest would not appear
- fixed an issue that sometimes caused Robert´s Camp to disappear from the map
- Forney quest location description added for clarity in the quest progress

- Resolved Chinese localization issues, causing texts not showing up in the correct manner at times.
- fixed numerous typos

- We fixed an issue, which caused enemies to sometimes loose interest in the player´s train – now enemies will always try to get to your goods (if in range).
- minor bugs like small misplacements were resolved.

Hey everyone, after nearly one and a half years in Early Access, we are very happy Bounty Train is about to be released today officially :D

With the release version we tried to tighten some of the loose ends of story and gameplay, expanded the game content and got rid of a lot of bugs. Please have a look at the changelog below, for additional information.


New Content: We added over 20 new quests, expanding the main story and adding new side stories for you to discover. We added new job offers and mixed up existing quest lines for some additional variation.

More freedom: We looked into additional options for how to play the game. For example, you now will be able to rob camps yourself, if that’s the way you want to roll.

Steam Achievements added: 30 achievements are now available, test your skill and unlock them!

Languages added: We updated the supported languages with this update: French, Polish, Spanish, traditional Chinese, simplified Chinese, updated English, updated German, updated Ukrainian and updated Russian are now available.

Soundtrack: The soundtrack is now available for all Trainium Edition owners. To access the soundtrack, start the application and select “Bonus Content”.

Bug fixes: We were able to resolve a lot of issues you reported to us – thanks a lot for your help! You can find our list of known issue for this update here -> Known Issues (V0.9)

With the release of Bounty Train we will focus on providing support and bugfixing since we want to make sure everyone’s able to enjoy the game, and is having a great experience.

Hey everybody,

We finally set things in stone, so we want to share with you our current plan for the upcoming weeks:
First things first: Bounty Train will be released 16.05.2017! :D

We are very happy to announce we will leaving early access May, 16. We will of course support the game after this date, with bug fixes and the intended DLC to follow (more information will become available after launch)

With the release setup, we also are happy to announce the supported languages for Bounty Train:

French, Polish, Spanish, traditional Chinese, simplified Chinese, updated English, updated German, updated Ukrainan and updated Russian.

The Bounty Train release will add to the general storyline, adds new quests, Achievements and overall improvements based on your feedback (The Preview log is soon to follow – please look into this for detailed information).

There also will be a closed beta test for launch balance, and final languages, starting next week :)

To participate, just let us know in the comments wou would like to take part in it, and we will contact you directly over steam. As this will be pretty restricted and focussed on balance, please understand we will not open this test up immideatly for a bigger numbers of testers.

What about the Trainium Content?
We will add the official soundtrack most likely before Bounty Train´s release, so you should be able to download it before release, so you should be able to download it before May 16th.

Please note, as we didn´t have the distribution rights for the main theme at the given time, this track will not be available. We are very sorry about this, but currently we aren´t allowed to ship it. The other four Soundtracks will be available via Steam.

The Arbook is currently in production, and might take additional time – we are hoping to get it done for release, or shortly after.

The ingame rewards should already be available to all Trainium users, so if you have any issues – please let us know.

Last but not least, the DLC. We will share additional information about the Content to expect and when it will be available shortly after launch.

Welcome to Update 08.1, which is focused on the latest issues you encountered when Update 08 went live in December. Thanks to your reports and feedback, a lot of issues were identified and resolved - thank you guys!


1) Fixed an issue connected to the Pearl Questline (Healing potion)
Players should now be able to continue their quest, as expected.

2) High ress texture option:
We enabled the high ress textures for players to activate manually. Please be aware, that this might cause performance issues on some systems, and is not intended to be used on 32bit systems.

3) Fixed a bug when you fail the James Berry prisoner quest.

4) Fixed actions when Matsuwa, Robert or Jeremiah died in battle.

5) Fixed a bug, where Daniel Hobbs disappeared in certain situations (Leland quest).

6) Fixed a bug which made it possible to complete the dynamite questline, without delivering the asked ammunition.

7) Worked on visibility of service events (Permanent economy changing events).

8) Fixed a bug, where carriage weight was displayed incorrectly.

9) Fixed a sound related bug, causing the healing sound to loop forever.

10) Fixed a bug in the sound settings.

11) Added the possibility to complete City hall quest with low attitude.

12) Fixed Bill Hickok behavior:
Bill Hickok will now be obtainable by Trainium Edition players again, and won´t travel on his own anymore.

13) Fixed a related bug, which displayed wrong icons in battle.

14) Shares auctions are now enabled in medium and large sized cities (they were only available in major cities before).

15) Fixed a bug, preventing players from starting the Jay Gould Quest.

16) Fixed an issue, which prevented mercenaries from spawning correctly in story mode.

17) Wrong sum was deducted when Walter buys shares from the bank

18) Adjusted the weight of the armored and heavy carriage.

19) Fixed Cullen Baker behavior:
Cullen Baker somehow didn´t disappear correctly, when the time was up. Now he should vanish again, once the time has passed.

20) The main menu is now blocked, while your are actively traveling on the map.

With the next update, we will focus on additional content, bugfixing and balancing, to get the new systems in a comfortable place and expand the campaign.

Hey folks, we wanted to give you a heads-up of the upcoming events for Bounty Train.

With the next update, we will overhaul the story campaign, expanding story branches and change some older quests for the better (or worse).

With these changes in place, your current campaign progress will no longer be usable, unfortunately. We are very sorry for this, but couldn´t find a way to keep things together in a timely manner.

So, we highly recommend speeding things up and finishing the current campaign this weekend, and get ready for the next update.

Bounty Train will appear at the PAX West in Seattle, Washington. The date is September 2nd to 5th, so if you're going there, come around!
