Really the game changed a lot with EX version, has new mechanics and is easier than this version, the enemies have other behaviors,60fps,new graphics,story mode, etc...
I do not say that it will not be updated. But they are changes that could not please everyone.
besides, it does not depend only on me now.

I was about to buy it as DLC, yet I realize it does not exists (yet).

Ex version does seems to be a lot easier, but also it adds many things that I found monotonous on the OG version. So I encourage that we could buy the EX version as a DLC. For those who want it original simply don't install the Ex version (DLC). I would buy it. I am having a lot of fun.

Hello; if you do want to build a community of fans and customers for your company, it is appreciated to support them, especially the first owners of the first version of your game with either a free update or a reasonable / huge price cut coupon for the reworked game / dlc... Just a tip.

i hope we can have the EX version as a DLC... maybe something like the CAVE games, where you have the original game + alternate versions (1.5, arrange, and so on)

Where there's a will, there's a way. Obviously there is none here, otherwise it would have been done already as a dlc (if the changes are so huge) or as a separate branch for the classic version for those who like vanilla.

Personally I find 30fps lock on pc vs 60fps on consoles as some kind of sick joke, or punishment perhaps for masterrace's sins of superior compute against consoles. It used to be vice versa...so just...why? We suffered 30 fps long enough I say.
