Just not enough games like this...
Ever since I played EA's Majestic back in 2001, I have been so intrigued by the idea of games/interactive experiences that could be presented in a way, that if you allow them, can feel almost real. For instance, Missing: Since January and Evidence (In Memorium 1 & 2) are easily two of my most favorite gaming experiences ever.

I had pretty high hopes for Cloud Chamber, but unfortunately, like most MM games, your enjoy can be hindered if you don't have the time to keep pace with those you start with.

I felt Simogo's Device 6, though without the use of Actors, did an excellent job of creating a game which blurred that time of game/realty, as well.

Anybody have any other games I should be checking out?

If you haven't played it already, do a search for "Digital: A Love Story" from Christine Love. It's a free-to-download game that tells a story through the medium of late '80s dial-up Internet precursors. You communicate with characters through emails and message boards. It's not a long game, but it's an interesting story nonetheless.

Love also made "Hate: An Analog Story" and "Hate Plus", which I suppose would fall under the category of visual novel. They're similar to "Her Story" in that you are piecing together a narrative from bits of information from sources who may or may not have a biased view of the events, except it's through written message logs rather than video clips.
I think my first fmv game was Phantasmagoria. I remember the book of 7 CDs and having to swap CDs throughout the game as you played :)
